In October, we went on a school trip to England, and it was one of the most exciting experiences I\u2019ve ever had. From the moment we took off with the plane everything felt different, from the weather to the people who spoke only English.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The weather was rainy when we arrived, but during the week the sun was shining and the weather was very good for England.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
One day, we went to London by train and visited Buckingham Palace, St. James\u2019 Park, China Town, Covent Garden, London Eye (where we took many pictures and saw London from above), and Big Ben. People often think that the building is called \u201cBig Ben\u201d, but Big Ben is only the name of the bell inside. The building is called \u201cElizabeth Tower\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On Friday we visited the Tower of London, Tower Bridge and many other sights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the evening we always took the double-decker bus back to our host family \u2013 it was so cool. But it\u2019s very strange that English people drive on the left side.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
What I noticed about the British culture is the kindness and the politeness. In England people are extremely polite and always say \u201cplease\u201d and \u201cthank you\u201d, also for the smallest things.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Some highlights of my trip were taking the bus in the morning and seeing kids wearing school uniforms. It was cool that we tasted Fish and Chips.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Overall, my week in England was unforgettable. I learned a lot and made memories that I\u2019ll never forget.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
